RAMSEY, William J. age 86 of Fairborn, passed away surrounded by family Friday, August 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Georgia Ramsey; parents, Beaulah and Bertie Mae; and 7 siblings. William is survived by his children, Norma (David) Toner of Fairborn, Linda Poole of Fairborn, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Ramsey of Fairborn, and Beth (Scott) Sering of Shelbyville, IN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He served as a corporal in the United States Army and had a 38 year career with General Motors. William was a member of Berean Baptist Temple. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and woodworking. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11 AM at Berean Baptist Temple, 2445 Trebein Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Berean Baptist Temple Tuesday, August 29 from 6-8 PM.
