Alberta Crase Kinsey, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on March 2, 2015 at the age of 87. Born May 18, 1927 in Louisville to Henry and Edna Crase, Alberta lived her life with strength, dignity, and dedication to her family and friends. She was a gifted homemaker and had a great talent for handmade crafts. She was known for her beautiful handmade cards and crocheted blankets. She was a member of Resurrection Episcopal Church. Alberta is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul A. Kinsey Sr., son, Robert L. Welch, sister, Martha Brey, brother, Albert Crase, Jr., and granddaughter, Suzannah Lawson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, David Welch (Gabriele) Sandra Lawson (Gene) Wanda Shaw (Gary) Marilyn Denney (George) Paul A. Kinsey, Jr. (Lynette). 19 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12:00 noon Saturday
