Faith M. Dixon, 95 of Fairdale, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born in Blackey, Kentucky to the late Jim and Hester May. Faith was a member of First Baptist Church, Fairdale. She was a dedicated teacher of 27 years and retired from JCPC. Faith was known for being a loving mother and grandmother.
Faith is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James A. Dixon Sr.; sons, Thomas Bruce Dixon, Jim Dixon Jr.; brothers, Jay and Jimmy May; and son in law, Wesley Kent.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Leslie Dixon Kent; grandchildren, Chad Dixon, Sarah Kent; great grandchild, Andrew; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1pm- 6pm at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with a celebration of Faith’s life to follow at 6pm in the Fairdale McDaniel Chapel. Burial will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10am at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Memorial donations can be made to Capital Project Fund First Baptist Church of Fairdale or Hosparus of Louisville.
