Garry W Marshall

Garry Marshall Sr., 65, of Vine Grove, passed away on October 14, 2021. He was born in Louisville on August 19, 1956 to the late James and Margie Marshall. Garry proudly served in the United States Army. In his free time, he enjoyed wood working, gardening and being outdoors. Every time you were around him, he had his music playing. Garry enjoyed having fun and living life to the fullest. He was incredibly selfless and loving and he will be missed deeply.

In addition to his parents, Garry is preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Ray Marshall, Sheila Gurnsey and Jeanette Gross.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Joyce Marshall; his beloved dog, Asia; his children, Ramonda Lynn Marshall, Veronica Marshall and Garry (Nicole) Marshall Jr.; step-children, Nathan (Jami) Arndt, Donald (Julia) Arndt Jr., Daneta (Adam) Simms and Stefan (Jodi) Arndt; 24 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Marshall, Dale Marshall, Joan Picolli, Shirley Day, Thelma Gail Marshall, Barbara Corder; and 17 nieces and nephews.

The family will accept guests for visitation from 3:00-8:00pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 and from 10:00-11:00am on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). A service to celebrate Garry’s life will take place at 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
