Ronald “Big Ron” Lee Baldwin, 53, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born in Junction City, Kansas on June 9, 1967. Ron was a bright shining light wherever he went and was affectionately called everyone’s Teddy Bear. He never knew a stranger and was always nice to anyone. He didn’t care what anyone thought of him. Even through everything life threw at him he smiled through it all and still appreciated life so much. He was always happy and willing to do anything for anyone. He will be missed by so many people. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel R. Baldwin; brother-in-law, Paul Miesner; and his grandfather, Don Bartell. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Dorothy Baldwin; siblings, Robert Baldwin, Lisa Miesner and Scott (Lynn) Baldwin; nieces, Curleena (Kenny) Smith, Kayla Baldwin and Jodie Baldwin; nephews, Duncan Miesner and Travis (Bridgett) Miesner; 2 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Ron’s life will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). The family will accept guests for visiting prior to the service from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ron and I told people we were twins cause our birthdays were 2 weeks apart. Loved my twin brother! He had one of the greatest smiles. Ron loved life...no matter what it brought him. Heaven is a happier place with him there. Keep em laughing bro! Love you!

My family has known the Baldwin family for as long as I can remember, but I moved, married and lost touch with everyone. When I began reconnecting with folks 5 yrs ago Ron didn't skip a beat accepting my friend request. He has been such a great friend and never judged. Full of life and love, bright sunshine in the darkest times and tease and joke through the good times. I could always count on seeing his posts and putting a smile on my face and in my heart. I can't believe that you are gone 🙁 Fly high my friend! I'll see you when I am done. I love you! R.I.P.

Ron was initially my boss, but quickly became my friend. He will be missed, but remembered fondly. Rest well good sir. You earned peace.

I met Ron in JC KS. He was the little brother I never had. He was the sweetest and the funniest person I've ever met. He lived with my sister in Colorado and we reconnected. I just wish I would of talked to him more. RIP little Bro. I love and miss u. 😘😘💜💜

I've know Ron since he was very young. Everything so far thats been written is so very true × 10. He stayed many times at my family's home. My boys & Ron had so much fun. He made tacos for us because we got home late. He had forgot to strain the hamburger. The grease was clearly seen. But he was so happy & we didn't say a word ! The best tacos we ever had !! There are so many other memories. But not enough room. You will be missed Ron. Sending my love to the family.
