I am so sorry to hear about Ronnie's passing. I talked to him back in February when he visited during Joey's funeral time. I also was at the service at Cornerstone when he got baptized. As a child, our times and visits were great - memories I will cherish forever!

Please know all of you are in my heart and prayers. I love you and all of our memories! Love, Beckie (Fields) Buskill

When we were really young,(9,10,11) we were best of friends. We played ball, rode our bikes, watched Tarzan movies and then go swing on a rope over the creek. We spent a lot of time at each others house. I remember he really liked my mother's biscuits.
Once we were invited to Shirley Morgan Beard's surprise birthday party. Well, we were all hiding in the basement when Shirley's sister brought her home from an errand. We were supposed to stay hidden until they went upstairs and then they would come back downstairs and we would all yell "Surprise". In true Ronnie Stallard fashion he thought it would be great fun to push me out from behind the furnace, where we were hiding and ruin the surprise. Thank goodness Shirley must have known about the party in advance because she just looked at me and smiled and continued up the stairs with her sister and a few minutes later came back down and then we all yelled "Surprise" and went on as if nothing had happened.
Life happened, and we still remained friends as we got older but we never experienced that bond that we had in those early years.
