Sidney R. Dennis, 87, of Louisville, went to live with his Lord Monday, August 5, 2013. He was a retired boiler operator for Naval Ordinance, WWII Army Veteran & member of Kosmosdale Baptist Church where was a deacon & elder for 59 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Ruby Dennis, siblings , his granddaughter, Deborah Lorraine De Angelo. & grandson Jonathan Charles Dennis.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 66 years, Lorraine, daughters, Patricia Dennis (Jimmy) & Deborah DeAngelo (Robert), son, Larry Dennis (Mary), brother, John Dennis (Mary), 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson,3 great grandsons, 6 great granddaughters , 5 great great grandsons & 1 great great great granddaughter
Funeral service will be Noon Friday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday and after10 am Friday until time of service.
