Susan.  It was your birthday yesterday and we Celebrated!!!!  The lanterns were beautiful as the 9 of them made their way to the heavens!  There were so many there we are and drank and had the best desserts.  Paula Deen  banana pudding and it was good.  I had to get some goose poop cookies cause you made the best!  Susan there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you.  I tell some of our stories about how much fun we could have every where we were.  That was you a fun and crazy person.  We could always make each other laugh!!!  Please ko watch over all of us and give my family a big hug for me .   I loved you and you will always be my best friend.  I loved you as a sister.

I can't stop thinking of you & all the good times we had together. You always made me feel special & loved. I could not have had a better friend & co-worker.

1951-2016   It is not the dates that count, its what is between the dash.  Susan was a great person, in the 64 short years, she did so much.  She had a good life, and would tell you.  She was beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside.  She was always there for everyone.  She met the man of her dreams, and had three beautiful children.  She was so proud of them, and then she became a grandma, to five precious grandbabies that she loved and talked about all the time.  They were her pride and joy.  I will always remember when she found out she was having twin grandbabies, she said hell let me get back on that plane, she had just flown in from Las Vegas.  She loved to go to the Casino, to eat at Mike Linnings,  Red Lobster, and The Shack.   She always wanted to be with her family and friends.  She lived a good life, had lots of fun, and yes some heartaches.  She was the strongest woman I think I ever met.  When she was diagnosed with Cancer, she told us all no tears.  We did our best, it was hard!  She never wanted much attention for herself, but was always giving others attention.  Heaven gained an awesome Angel that night.  We shed tears, and knew we had lost the greatest.  Life will continue for us, and I hope we will always keep Susan alive in our hearts, and in our lives.  Keep talking about the memories, the love she gave us.  Renee, Steven, Jennifer, you had an awesome mom who loved you so much.  Steven you will always be her Bub, Renee, you were her best friend, Jennifer you gave her so much happiness with those grandboys.  To her sisters, remember the great times.  The last days as you stayed day and night, remember those times as fun, a slumber party to reconnect.  Let that time be a memory you will never forget, remember it as showing Susan so much love, and being there for her.  She loved you all.  Tommy, keep on fighting and be a survivor for her.  She loved you.
She is with Jeff, and they are celebrating together.  I love you all!

The day has come that we will say our final goodbyes.  It has been a rough week on all of us.  Tears continue to flow down my cheeks as I look at my phone and don't have a missed call.  No emails while I have been at work, no hearing your laugh your voice as I tell you about the days happenings.  We had become best of friends over the years, and now you are gone.  Never did I dream you would leave so soon.  I thought you would kick Cancers butt, and we would be back out to eat, on a trip and definitely back to our daily conversations.  I love you Susan, Thanks for all the love and care you have shown me.  YOU were the BEST!!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family too. Remember all the good times we had growing up in the neighborhood. Rest in peace!

Gerald, I know you are lost.  You have spent your life with this beautiful woman and she has kept you going.  You have to take care of yourself for your kids and grandkids.  They are going to need you.  Gerald, I loved Susan and we shared so many good times together.  Thank you for always making me feel so welcomed in your home.  We all have lost a wonderful person and friend in our life.  I wish I had words that would comfort you.  I will keep in touch and if you need anything I am there for you.  I love you.

     I am so sorry to hear about your Mother's death......

Renee, I know it is so hard.  You and your mom were best of friends.  You had a relationship like many would love to have.  She was always there for you and you were there for her.  She was so proud of you, and loved you so much.  Life is so unfair at times, we question why did she get sick, why couldn't she beat this, why do we loose someone as great and loving as she was.  We will all go through a lot in the next coming months, so many emotions, so many feelings, but remember always SHE loved you so much.  These feeling are normal, and we just can't let them get us down.  Look at me, preaching to the choir while tears are streaming down my face.  Renee, thank you for sharing your mom with so many.  I have depended on her and loved her like a sister for so long.  You were BLESSED with the BEST that's for sure.  I am here if you need anything.  I love you!

Stephen, words can never express how sorry I am for you.  Your mom was your everything.  She loved you so much, and if that phone didn't ring at the time she thought it should she would start getting worried.  So many mornings, when the weather was bad, if she picked it up once she picked it up twenty times.  I would say just call him, and she would say no its bad out, he is driving.  I could tell she was getting worried. You were her baby and always would be.  She depended on you, for so much.  Rememeber Stephen the great times!!!  I am here if you need anything.  I love you

My sincere condolences to the family of Susan Whitley.  I have the pleasure of knowing Shawn, her brother, who has performed excellent maintenance and yard work at my home.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Susan, What can I begin to say.  We go way back and have been the best of friends for many years.  When you called that morning and told me you had cancer, I thought if anyone can beat it Susan can.  You were the strongest person I knew and with your support system we had this beat!  God must have needed you in heaven, Probably some insurance problem under Obamas care had arised.  We need you here.  You Will be missed by so many.  No matter if we had worked together all day we still had plenty to talk about on the phone or out to eat.  We could laugh for hours, about some of the silliest things.  Why I keep asking did God take you now.  You have been like a sister to me, my support person in many things.  You always welcomed my family as yours, and came and gave so freely when we had an event.  You shared the excitement of my becoming a MIMI as if they were your own.  I will miss you my friend.  YOU were the best.  Rest in peace, and party up there as you keep a watchful eye on all of us.  I love you
