William J. "Joe" Sweeney, 68, of Brooks, KY, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. He was a retired electrician at ASRC, an Air Force Viet Nam Vet, member of Blessed Teresa Catholic Church and also of Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mary Sweeney, sisters, Alberta Bowles & Pat Parker, his first wife, Nancy, son, Mark and best friend Bruce Bale.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Shirley, daughter, Rebecca Waggoner (Baldemar), sons, Todd Sweeney, Scott Bale (Carol), Jeffrey Bale, Jonathan Bale (Lindsey) & Joshua Sweeney (Hannah), grandchildren; Megan, Jeremy, Joseph, Samuel, Patrick, Jessa, Criofan, Shaylan, Rowan, Kenneth, Christine, Brittany, Katelyn, Emily, Mark, Bailey, Jovi & Seth and a great grandson, Casey.
