Daisy C. Truitt, Age 87, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at The Gardens at Fair Oaks Assisted Living. Daisy is survived by her twin sons, Alan Truitt (Rhea) and Albert Truitt (Jo Ann); three grandchildren, Brian Truitt (Julie), Brandy Stevens (Michael) and Michael Truitt; six great-grandchildren, Kenzie Truitt, Mia Truitt, Jessie Truitt, Anthony Stevens, Joseph Stevens and Lilah Stevens. Daisy is also survived by many other loving family members. Daisy is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Truitt. Daisy was an avid gardener. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030. A Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
