Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Robert G. Foster Sr.; loving mother of Pamela Foster, Robert Foster Jr., Brian Foster, and Penny Foster-Manuel; and dear grandmother to Nathan Manuel, Nolan Manuel, Cory Manuel, Jennifer Foster, and Shannon Foster. She was preceded in death by her brother Carl Schnelle, Jr.
Dolores was born January 1, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was raised there and worked at Steel City Electric before marrying and moving to Northern Virginia. She retired from Fairfax County Public Schools after being a loyal employee for many years.
Dolores loved the Washington Nationals and was thrilled to get to see them win a championship before her passing. Her family and friends were most important to her and she was always looking forward to her next trip or vacation with them.
Dolores will be laid to rest with Robert in a private ceremony at Fairfax City Cemetery on November 25, close to her home of many years.
