Harry Lee Donaghy

Harry Lee Donaghy, Age 78 On Sunday May 15, 2016, surrounded by family Harry passed away. Harry was the loving husband of Margie A Donaghy of 58 years. Devoted father of June Lee Terry, Christine Lynn Piccinino, Laura Kay Glass, and Victoria Ann Jones. Harry was preceded in death by his mother Doris Plummer Donaghy and Father Jack Edward Donaghy and sister Connie Donaghy. He is survived by a sister Shirley Lovely and brother Jack Edward Donaghy JR and grandchildren; Margie Ann Piccinino, John Michael Juszkiewicz, Jack Daniel Juszkiewicz, Steven Lee Fowler, Robert Neville Fowler, Jacqueline Ann Ratcliff, Kasondra Lynn Compton, and Margie Nicole Rawls and 12 great grand children. Rasied in Fort Fairfield Maine, Harry was a long time resident of Northern Virginia, Moving to Fairfax in 1962. Known by many and very active in the sport of Drag Racing. He loved vacationing with his wife and driving cross country in his tractor trailor. As a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church with the "epics" group and tidying the nave, he loved to play cards with friends and cooking for everyone. The service will be held at 11 am Saturday May 21st, 2016 at King of Kings Lutheran church in Fairfax with refreshments at church. Everyone is welcome to visit at the family home following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to king of Kings Lutheran Church for the benefit of the church.
