Joseph Wayne Holliday

Joseph Wayne Holliday, beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth Holliday of Chantilly, Virginia passed away at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital on November 22, 2015. Joseph was born February 16, 1946 in Bradley, West Virginia. From 1965-1968, he served in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, Joseph worked for local hospitals in accounting. He was a member of Saint Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church in Fairfax, Virginia. Joseph enjoyed family travel, the outdoors, golf, the Redskins and being a granddad. Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Holliday, his son, Joseph Edward Holliday; daughter, Ann Kathryn Rosenfield (Evan); grandson, Lionel Blaise Rosenfield. Joseph is also survived by his siblings, Robert Holliday (Ellen), Betty James (Richard), Richard Holliday (Lois) and Teresa Windsor (Jerry). Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, James and Garnett Holliday; three brothers, James Holliday, Jr., Paul Holliday and Tommy Holliday; and three sisters, Irene Graham, Carol Martin and Patricia Ballard. A visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030. Interment will take place at a later date.
