Lillie Mae Gandy

Lillie M. Gandy was born in Fort Mitchell, Alabama, to Milton Clayton and Odell Roberts on November 1st, 1942. She went to school at Mother Mary Mission. She married William James Gandy Sr. in March of 1963 in Fort Benning, Georgia. She worked as an Environmental Services Worker for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 15 years. She was a dedicated member of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 52 years.

Lillie is preceded in death by her husband, William James Gandy Sr.; her grandson, Tarik T. Allen; her sisters, Joan McKnight, Jean Townsend, Ruth McKnight, and Francis Chester; and her brother, Freddie McKnight Jr.

Lillie is survived by her siblings, Shirley T. McKnight, Mary Beatrice Peyton, Michael McKnight, and Kenneth McKnight; her children, Phyllis D. Weichel, Vivian L. Littleton, Doran D. Gandy (Cheryl), Yvette R. Gandy, Charlotte M. Applewhite (Mitchell), William J. Gandy Jr. (Kimberly) and Felicia L. Gandy; and her grandchildren, Teiler, Matthew, Arian, Danielle, William, Sydney, Justin, Brittany, Landon, Christopher, Doran Jr., Ronald, Tara, Alonzo, Cleatus, and Michael.
