Mark Duane Brown, age 65 of Fairfax, VA died at Adler Center for Caring on October 21, 2025. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jimmy L. Brown, Kathleen L. Brown and Brother Timothy L. Brown; he is survived by his greatest Friend and Christian Brother William Covert and his Cousins, Suzie Adkins, Matty Wright, Kenny Tarmin, Billy Brown, Frankie Brown, Wendy Thacker, and Joann Tantoco.
Mark was born in Winchester, VA and raised in Alexandria, VA. He owned and operated Brown’s Lawn Service for many years. Mark and William Covert became friends, much like the friendship of Jonathan and David described in 1st Samuel, 18:1-5.
Mark came to Centreville Baptist Church in October 2023, where the Church Family embraced a member of that Family. Mark was baptized at Centreville Baptist Church in August, 2025 and was a Joyous Member of the Church for the rest of his life. He was assured of his Salvation through Christ Jesus and did not fear death because of the promise of Resurrection.
