Michele Thomas Dagenhart

Michele was born on January 26th 1981 in Manassas, VA, to Theresa Long Dagenhart and Michael Ray Dagenhart. She graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and attended Bluefield College in Virginia, graduating with multiple degrees. She worked for Long's Corporation in Fairfax, VA, carrying on the family business through the 4th generation. For over 15 years she enjoyed riding horses competitively and had more recently joined Vint Hill CrossFit becoming a part of their family. She also participated on the board of directors for the Virginia PHCC.

Michele is survived by her two children Ashton Michael Hurt, age 11, and Jackson Alexander Hurt, age 8, her mother and father Theresa Long Dagenhart and Michael Ray Dagenhart, grandmother Avin Dagenhart of Statesville, NC, Aunts Cheryl Douglas and Pam Long, as well as numerous cousins and family friends.

Michele was predeceased by grandparents Kenneth A. Long and Margaret A. Long of Haymarket, VA, and Ellis Dagenhart of Statesville, NC.

Viewing/reception will be held on Monday April 25th 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030. Graveside service will be at Fairfax City Cemetery from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, officiated by Raymond Spriggs of Focus Ministries, Sterling, VA. She fought valiantly and will be missed dearly.
