Ralph Edward Gentry, 87, of Leesburg, FL passed away on February 24, 2015. He was born on December 26, 1927 in Chantilly, VA and moved to Leesburg, FL in 1999. Ralph is survived by his five children: Phyllis Penny Royce (Daniel) of Fairfax, VA; Ralph Wayne Gentry of Anthem, AZ; Judy Ison (Michael) of Anthem, AZ; Paul Gentry (Robin) of Snow Hill, MD; and Marie Ramirez of Waldport, OR. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with another on the way. Ralph coached Little League in his youth and was instrumental in establishing the Spanish Village Softball Team and playing field. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, fishing, boating, and betting on horses. Ralph had a heart of gold, always willing to help in anyway he could. The family is gathering on Wednesday, March 4 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Demaine Funeral Home (formerly Everly), 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030, with services and internment at Fairfax City Cemetery immediately following.
