Robert (Bob) Lee Hash, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2025 at his residence at The Culpeper Memory Care in Culpeper, VA. He previously was a longtime resident of Fairfax City, VA.
Bob was born in Beckley, WV on September 17, 1936. He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life of 57 years, Peggy Jane (Ray) Hash who passed away in 2014; sister Mary Prindle (Erwin); brother James (‘Sonny’) Hash (Dove); sister Bette Scherer (Bob); his parents and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters Terri Weisenburg (Bill); Pamela Whitt (Barry); Valerie Brown (George); and Bobby Hash (Molly).
Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
Bob was a Navy veteran. He retired from the Federal Government at the White House, working under 7 United States Presidents. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family’s GO FUND ME, where 100 percent of the proceeds will go to The Culpeper Memory Care unit for needed items for the residents.
