Vance Young

March 14, 1937 - August 26, 2024

Vance Allen Young Sr. of Centreville, VA left his earthly home and went to heaven on August 26, 2024.

Born in Bluefield, West Virginia in 1937- Vance was a man of God, Army Veteran, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years - Norma Young. He will be mourned by his three sons- Allen (Shelley), David (Lisa),Brian - five grandchildren: Cameron (Crystal), Blake (Desirae), Lindsay (Shawn), Rachel (Daniel), Courtney (Joey), and eight great grandchildren.

While his reunion with the Lord and his family in heaven is a joyous occasion, his family, extended family, and church family (at the Community Church of God in Dunn Loring, VA) will miss and grieve him dearly.

"For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death." Psalm 48:14

A visitation for Vance will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home - Fairfax, 10565 MAIN ST, FAIRFAX, VA 22030.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at External Service Location, 2500 Gallows Rd, Dunn Loring, VA 22027.

A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172.
