Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of Patricia (MacLean) Foster of Fairhaven and the late Alfred Foster.
She had worked as a retail clerk in the local area.
Amy loved the company of her family, friends and loving son.
Surviving in addition to her fiancé and mother is her son, Jacob Savoie; six brothers, Robert, Michael, James, Timothy, Peter and Daniel Foster; two sisters, Kathleen Foster and Margaret Edson; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas and Andrew Foster.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 10 AM- 12 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
