March 16, 1979 – August 2, 2018
Born in Fall River, the son of T. Kevin Richards and Joan (Costa) Richards of East Freetown. Brian grew up in East Freetown and attended school in the Freetown-Lakeville school system and graduated from Old Colony RVTHS in 1997 and received his Associate’s Degree from New England Tech in December, 2000. He had a very successful career in his own business, Bristol Plymouth Real Estate and Appraisals, often answering questions and helping friends with free advice. He was also affiliated with Advisory Appraisals for ten years. Brian was a member of the Eagles Club in Lakeville.
Brian always had a smile on his face and was always there with his big heart and open ears to listen to anyone who needed to talk and offer his support, ready to help anyone who asked for a favor, no matter how large or small. He was loved by his family and his large community of friends. He loved spending time listening to music and attending concerts with friends, especially Badfish and The DropKick Murphys, usually near or on his birthday each year, March 16th. He also loved all of his cars, whichever one he had at the time, and cherished his F-150 4x4 and off-roading with friends. Brian will forever be remembered for texting or emailing jokes and funny stories and sending U-Tube video links to his family and friends at all hours of the day and night.
Brian will be deeply missed by his parents and his one brother, Terrance Keith Richards and wife Laura of Connecticut, his niece and nephew, twins Ruby and Bryce Richards; his grandmother, A. Helen Richards of Dartmouth, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close and lifelong friends.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, the late Joseph and Henrietta Costa of Acushnet and the late Thomas P. Richards of Dartmouth.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, September 8, 2018 at St. John Neumann Church, East Freetown, Massachusetts.
