

Charles F. Foley Jr., 63 of Lititz went home to be with the Lord Wed August 3, 2011 while on vacation in New England at their family home. He never did "catch that fish" but caught the hearts of many with his quick wit and humor.
He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Tip and Mary Foley. Chuck proudly served his country in Vietnam in the Pleiku area with the I Cav. 4th Division from 1969-70 as a radio operator.
After graduating from Temple University he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 36 years and was a member of the local 19th Sheet Metal Workers Union for 44 years. He worked on the Dome Palace Complex in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, the Limerick Nuclear Generating Station, Unit I and the King Saud University in Saudi Arabia.
Chuck's hobbies included cars, cross word puzzles, photography, chess, birds, music, boats and dogs.
Chuck will be lovingly missed by his wife Nancy, children Crystal, Jennifer, Joshua, Celeste and Chip and their spouses, four grandchildren, sister Kathi and Rich Fortmann, their son Joshua and his wife.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2PM at Grace Church of Lititz where Chuck and Nancy are members. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap, Monday August 22, 2011 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Water Street Rescue Mission, Lancaster or Asera Care Hospice, 315 Primrose Lane Mountville PA, 17554.
