Edward Roland Sirois

He was the loving husband of 41 years to Janis (Curcio) Sirois. He is survived by his son and daughter in law James and Diane Houghton, of Franklin; his two grandsons Nicholas and Connor Houghton of Franklin; his siblings Louise Lussier of New Bedford and Jackie Rosparka of Fairhaven. He leaves behind many loving family members including adoring nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who were family to him.

Ed graduated from New Bedford High School and went on to graduate from SMU with a degree in History and Political Science. He retired from the New Bedford Public School System. Ed enjoyed spending time with his grandsons in Franklin, MA and loved talking to them every day. He looked forward to yearly family vacations in Newport, Cape Cod and Florida. Ed was best known for maintaining a pristine lawn, catching up on current events, sitting out on his porch, driving his sports car and spending time with friends and family.
