

He was born January 15th, 1981 in New Bedford, and was the son of Monica (Saint) Chace and her husband Merrill of Acushnet and Robert W. Garrison and his wife Nancy of Salisbury, NC. Evan was a skilled machinist and a former manager at Cars Recon in Baltimore, Maryland. As a New England sports enthusiast, he especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots games. Evan had a true sense of adventure, loved to travel, and especially enjoyed meeting people from different cultures. An avid reader, Evan was well versed in world politics and military history.
He will be remembered by his family for his sense of humor and quick wit as well as his playfulness with the younger members of his large extended family.
In addition to his parents, Evan is survived by his brothers, Peter Chace of Acushnet and Brian Garrison and his wife Kristen of New Bedford; a sister Lindsey Garrison of Salisbury, NC; maternal grandparents Raphael and Joan Saint of St. Albans, ME; a niece and nephew Erin and Colin Garrison. Evan had many aunts and uncles who were a source of ongoing encouragement and support: Barbara Saint of New Bedford, MA; Ann Marie and Steven Saint-Martin of San Diego, CA., Joanne O’Neil of San Diego, CA; Brenda and Walter Mendonca of St. Alban’s, ME; Daniel and Barbara Harnen of Vineyard Haven, Ma, Raymond and Louise Dahill of Vineyard Haven and Ronald Dahill of Middleboro, Ma; Frank and Nancy Brand of Boca Raton, FL; Jack and Kathie Glus of Boca Raton, FL; Robert and Joan Brand of Lunenburg, MA; Jeannette Wilkinson of Westford, MA; Tom and Tabitha Brand of Lunenburg, MA; Jonathan and Sandra Chace of El Mirage, Az., James and Mary Chace of Sandwich, Ma and Normand and Rebecca Saucier of Fairhaven, Ma. as well as many cousins.

His funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Parish, 125 Main St., Acushnet. Visiting hours Friday 5-8pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Burial will be private.
