
Karen Sue (Taylor) Jackson, age 58, of Mattapoisett died unexpectedly at home on January 16, 2015. She was the husband of Ronald T. Jackson with whom she celebrated 32 years of marriage on September 4, 2014.
Karen was born and raised in Fall River, a daughter of the late Vernon C. and Shirley E. (Booth) Taylor, and has lived in Mattapoisett since 1965. She graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School in 1974 and attended classes at Bridgewater State.
She was currently employed as an Overnight Stacker for Wal-Mart in Wareham and had previously worked at Wal-Mart, Circuit City and the Old Country Buffet in Dartmouth, and had been a Cashier at K-Mart for over 10 years. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she leaves a son Thomas A. Jackson and a daughter Courtney B. Jackson, and two beloved grandchildren Chase N. and Jeremy R. Jackson all of Mattapoisett. She was also the sister of Garrison “Gary” L. and Charles E. Taylor both of Fairhaven, Scott D. Taylor of New Bedford and the late Robin D. Charbonneau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are under the care of the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
