Richard B. “R.B.” Schneider, age 98, passed away May 20, 2011. He was a proud WWII US Army Veteran and retired from Goodyear after 36 years of service. R.B. was the former husband of the late Isabel (nee: Tamblin). R.B. leaves behind his sons Richard Tamblin, Paul “Rod” (Sharlene) Girard, and Craig (Barbara) Schneider, and his grandchildren John and Sarah Girard. The family would like to send a special thank you to Ellet Gardens, Emeritus of Stow (Memory Care), Lena’s Home Care, Crossroads Hospice and Paul and Isabel Bachtel. They all took part in the wonderful care R.B. received in the past 18 months. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 24, at 1pm at the Catavolos Funeral Home 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, where family will receive friends from 11am until time of services. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
