Anastasia W. Mezo

Anastasia married “the love of her life” Teddy on April 10, 1956 in East St. Louis.

Anastasia graduated from Saint Teresa Academy (STA) in 1955. She still met with St. Cyril’s Ladies Guild prior to Covid; and served as the President of St. Cyril PTA for many years. She enjoyed being in charge of the many fish fries and spaghetti dinners. Anastasia retired from the Federal Reserve Bank.

Anastasia is preceded in death by her parents, Son: Joseph Mezo (in infancy); (9) brothers; (2) sisters; Father-in-law: Andrew (Bill) Mezo; Mother-in-law: Gladys Mezo; and Son-in-law: Rodney Rogers.

Anastasia is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Teddy Mezo; Children: Donna Heth, Don (Tammy) Mezo, Margaret Rogers, Ron Mezo (Dennis Gomes), Melissa (Denny) Beiter; Sister-in-law: Mary Ann Bell; (9) grandchildren; (20) great-grandchildren, (1) great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, many extended family members, friends, and wonderful neighbors.

Honoring Ann’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
