

Mr. Langenstein was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and was a rifle instructor during his time in the military. He retired after 41 years of dedicated service from Ford Motor Company, Granite City, Il.,
a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Il., and the International Association of Machinists, Lodge #313. He loved camping, walking and bike riding and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew P. & Elsie, nee Biekert, Langenstein Sr., and his brother, Oliver Langenstein.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Alice, nee Schoen, Langenstein of Collinsville, Il., of whom he married on March 31 1951; his daughter, Aneda (Larry) Glasscock of Mascoutah, Il., and Alan (Lisa) Langenstein of Collinsville, Il., Grandchildren, Nicole (Chad) Gariglietti, Sara Glasscock, Cody (Diana) Langenstein and Casey Langenstein; Great-Grandchildren, Anthony, Kobe, Chistopher and Owen.
Memorials may be made in the form of a Mass to SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church or to the American Cancer Society

Visitation: Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 20, 2010 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 207 Vandalia Street, Collinsville, Il., 62234.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Reiss Chapel, Fairview Hgts, Il.
