

Mr. Lewis was a retried member of the Teamster’s Local 525, Alton, Illinois. He loved to fish, hunt, and work on cars. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Alice, nee Cook, Lewis; a son, Thomas F. Lewis, Sr.; and a brother, Lester L. Lewis.
Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Peggy Lewis, nee Woodside, of Collinsville, Illinois, a daughter, Barbara (Richard) Indermark, of Caseyville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Trisha (Tim) Thompson, of O’Fallon, Illinois, Thomas F. (Niki Frazer) Lewis, Jr., of Troy, Illinois, and Ryan (Megan Hanley) Indermark, of Troy, Illinois; five great grandchildren, Alex, Anders, Madison, Mackenzie, and Trent; a sister, Edna Williams, of Granite City, Illinois; an brother-in-law, Bob Woodside, of Caseyville, Illinois; and two sisters-in-law, Betty (Vernon) Hazelwood, of Mission, Texas, and Judi (Larry) Hamilton, of Vergennes, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
