Jim was born December 12, 1946 in East St. Louis, IL to Wilbur and Helena (Wrischnik) Weaver.
Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a maintenance technician at Wetterau Farms for many years, then later for Dr. Pepper, until he retired to farm life.
He loved his dog, farm equipment, baling hay, managing cows, taking day trips, talking, estate sales and auctions.
Farming and agriculture were a passion of Jim's and brought him years of joy, hard work and cherished friendships.
Jim is survived by his dog, Dog; two children, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Helena Weaver, two siblings, two nieces, one daughter, and one great grandchild.
A graveside service for Jim will be postponed until a later date.
