Barbara was born to Howard and Pauline (nee Hyslop) Wetzel on April 16, 1935 in Princeton, Indiana.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Christian and enjoyed watching televangelists' sermons.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pauline Wetzel; husband, John R. Hill, and son-in-law, Kevin Moore.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debbie Moore; sons, John S (Charissa) Hill and Mike (Victoria Roth) Hill; grandchildren, Kristen Hill, Lauren Hill, Michaela (Michael) Horn, and Taryn Hill; and great-grandchildren, Cyan Horn and Marcella Horn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkview Church of the Nazarene in Fairview Heights, Illinois and/or Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene in Belleville, Illinois.
Cremation is scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2026 @ 3pm.
