Betty J. Hargrove

Mrs. Hargrove loved doing crosswords and playing with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook, and everyone looked forward to eating at her house. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Dessie, nee Wisdom, Percy; a son, Ronald Hargrove; three brothers, and three sisters.

Surviving are her loving husband, Calvin Hargrove, her children, William (Sandra) Hargrove, Linda (Rick) Seay, Debra (Joseph) Jackson, Randy (Diana) Hargrove, Johnnie (Linda) Hargrove, Nancy Bezner, Patty (Doug) Dennison, Donald (Linda) Hargrove, Barbara (Bill) Bailey, Kathy (Tim) Hazzard, and Tonya (Greg) Swain; 27 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013, at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Broihier officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
