Bonnie was deeply religious and enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, and her Dr. Pepper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin Brookshire; parents, Ernest Rowland, and Carrie, nee Shipley, Rowland; a son, Robert Brookshire; a daughter, Kathy Eckstein; and a brother John Rowland.
Surviving are her grandchildren; Robert (Ashley) Rogers, and Ryan Eckstein; great-grandchildren Tierstyn, Bella and Zoey Rogers; son-in-law, Randall J. Eckstein; uncle Thomas Shipley; niece Nancy Rowland, and nephew Richard Rowland.
