

She was a graduate of O’Fallon Township High School in 2000; where she was a member of the OTHS Marching Panthers Band and their track and field team. She then graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She was formerly the Regional Director with GE Mobile Water Treatment Solutions. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend; who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jayce Gunner Prewitt, in infancy; her maternal grandfather, Col. Charles J. Mueth; paternal grandparents, Herbert A. and Louise, nee Vitt, Johnson, Sr.; an aunt, Jane Ellen Mueth; and an uncle, John Johnson.
Surviving are her loving husband, Sgt. First Class, James J. Prewitt, U.S. Army, of Bunnlevel, North Carolina; her step-daughter, Brielle Prewitt; her parents, Capt. Art and June, nee Mueth, Johnson, of Troy, Illinois; her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Mueth, nee Hempen, of Waterloo, Illinois; sister, Jenna (Chad) Edwards, of Marine, Illinois; her brother, Brandon Johnson, of Seattle, Washington; her nephew and niece, Coen and Adrianna Edwards; her aunt and Godmother, Jean E. (Mike) Dayton, her aunts, Sarah (Jeff) Scholten, Grace (Jim) Lange, and Marguerite Jahns; her uncles, John (Susan) Mueth and Timothy (Harmie) Johnson; and cousins, Eric (Kim Morse)Mueth and his daughters, Serenity and Penolope; and Sarah Anne (Jon) Muse and their children, Aiden and Eli; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Entombment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
