Dawn was born on September 6, 1954, to Kenneth Neukam, Sr., and Margaret Neukam (nee Goodwin).
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Neukam, Sr., and Margaret Neukam; brother, Kenneth Neukam, Jr., and their first son, Michael Thiel.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Robert Thiel; sons, Aaron (Mary) Thiel (Collinsville, Illinois) and Justin (Mindy) Thiel (Chicago, Illinois); grandchildren, Marc Thiel, Amber Thiel, Olivia Thiel, and Fiona Thiel. She is also survived by her sister, Sandee Green; and niece, Stefanie (Joey) Mildenberger.
A visitation for Dawn will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Lake View Funeral Home at 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208. The memorial service will begin at 12:00pm, followed by the committal at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 5000 N. Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208.
