Debbie L.M. Temple

Debbie was born May 10, 1953 in Belleville, IL to Conrad and Anna Marie (Miller) Goeddel. She married Ricky Temple Sr. on September 23, 1972 in Belleville, IL. He survives and resides in Belleville, IL.

Also surviving are her children, Ricky Temple Jr. (Jennifer MacGregor) of Twin Lakes, WI and Melissa Temple (Josh Perkinson) of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Dylan Temple (Jolie Stelmaszek) and Kayla Temple; her great-grandson, Wayne Temple; sisters, Joyce Turk (Bill Cantrell) of Dallas, TX, Pam Carroll of Olney, IL, Brenda Goeddel of Belleville, IL and Patricia Wright of Caseyville, IL; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Lydia) Temple and Rex Temple, all of Hopkinsville, KY, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jean (David) Branham.

Debbie worked as a library technician throughout her life; a career that brought her much joy and many friendships. In years past, she worked at the Kaskaskia Library System in Smithton, the Thompson Coburn Library, SWIC Library and the Fairview Heights Library. She loved to read, watch Hallmark movies and spend time with her loving family. Along with her husband, Ricky, she was a member of the Towerview Baptist Church in Belleville, IL. She cherished her church family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to the Metro East Humane Society, as Debbie loved all animals.

A private family service will be held under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
