Debra "Debbie" Lynn Jones

Debbie was born December 20, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL to Samuel “Bud” and Lorene Christine (Hart) Jones. They preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Hayes and her sister-in-law, Earline Jones.

Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Chevy Thorne of Mississippi and Hannah Kroener of Mascoutah, IL; her better half, David Doolittle of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashleigh, Aaron, Brittany, Brandon, Kevin Jr., Kaylee and Vivian; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Mitchell; siblings, Jack Jones of Belleville, IL, Phyllis Schleicher of O’Fallon, IL, Michael (Mel) Jones of Godfrey, IL, and Susie (Keith) Boismenue of Mascoutah, IL; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

For many years, Debbie worked at Regions Bank in Belleville, IL and more recently for AT&T in Fairview Heights, IL. She recently retired and enjoyed her time reading, sewing, flower gardening, watching old movies and shopping. Above all else, Debbie loved her time spent with her wonderful family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1:00 P.M.- 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
