Dennis was a machine operator at Progress Rail Services in Alorton, Illinois and a member of the 623 Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Leonard and Glenella, nee Lusk, Ridgway, and a sister, Janet Huster.
Surviving is wife of 41 years, Pamela Ridgway, nee McCLain, a daughter Michelle Thomas of Belleville, Illinois, two grandchildren; C.J. and Dylan Thomas, two brothers; Ronald and Earl Ridgway, a sister Kathy Mattei, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
