Dianna Bales

Dianne was born January 9, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL to Russell and Helen (Smith) Knight. She married Ronald L. Bales; together they shared 29 years together. He survives and resides in Caseyville, IL.

Also surviving is her son, Robert “Bob” (Cheryl) Keplar of Maryville, IL; five grandchildren, Amber Keplar, Zach Keplar, Danielle (Eric) Richesin, Aaliah and Alexiah; siblings, Julie (Vernon) Parmely of Staunton, IL, Sharilyn Lyerla of Collinsville, IL, Ella (Kenny) Mosbey of Caseyville, IL, NS Russell Jr. (JoEllen) Knight of Collinsville, IL; and her beloved dog, Pennie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Helen Knight.

In years past, Dianne worked for Martha Manning Clothing Factory. She continued working at Frank’s Market and Sav-On convenience store in Collinsville.

Dianne and Ron were both active members of Heartland Family Church in Caseyville, where they cherished their church family. Dianne enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking, often with her sister, Ella. She loved her family dearly, especially her five grandchildren, they were the light of her life. Dianne will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITAITON: A visitation for Dianne will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL.

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
