Doris Larue Ely

She is survived by her brothers, David (Judy) Buckingham, Thomas Buckingham; sisters, Diana (Dennis) Kassing, Debra Frey; children, Christopher Ely, James (Tammy) Gray, Lisa Daughtrey, ; grandchildren Elizabeth Fisher, Reagan Gray,Elijah Gray, Rachel Gray, Jacob Gray, Taylor (Ryan) McCarty, Jordan Daughtrey, Brianna Daughtrey, Emalee Deltgen, Minden Deltgen, Joseph Daughtrey, Ephraim Daughtrey, Isaac Daughtrey, many loving nieces, nephews, and spiritual sons, daughters, and grandchildren.

Doris is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Joseph L. Ely; and her dear parents.

Doris and Joseph Ely founded Faith Ministries center in Caseyville Illinois in the summer of 1993. Doris was a devoted Christian, serving faithfully around the world. During her missions she visited many places, including; Africa, India, China and Russia. She was a proud member of Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association. Doris was a mother to many, and loved God, family, and her grandchildren. Her passion lied in spreading the gospel and the comfort of prayer.

Funeral Service: A Celebration of life will be held 12 pm. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Faith Ministries 8861 Botanical Ave, Caseyville, IL 62232, followed by burial at Lake View Memorial Gardens 5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208

A shared meal and a time of fellowship will take place at Caseyville village Hall following burial.
