Elna Jeanette Larson

Elna was a member of Our Lord’s Lutheran Church, Maryville, Ill., and she retired from Castlehaven Nursing Home in Swansea, Ill., in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lawrence G. Larson who died on July 1, 2003; her parents, Sophus & Alma, nee Evanson, Peterson, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Caryl (David) Kassing; four grandchildren, Melanie Hallsten, Keith (Connie) Wyvell, Kevin (Kelly) Wyvell and Brian Kassing; 7 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; two sisters, Luella Meyer and Donna Johnson and one brother, Wilhelm Peterson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Our Lord’s Lutheran Church, 150 Wilma Dr., Maryville, Ill., 62062.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Our Lord’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. John Lottes officiating.

Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
