Gene was a veteran Staff Sergeant in the Air Force. He was a man of great faith in God. Gene enjoyed woodworking and helping his loved ones whenever there was a need.
Gene was the proud husband of Christine Michaelle (nee Einsel) Brockley for 40 years; the loving father of, Ryan Brockley (Madison), Amanda Brockley, Sarah Brockley, and Joshua Brockley; the brother-in-law of, Anita Koll, Philip Einsel (Allison), and Kevin Einsel (Kelly). Gene will also leave his memory to be cherished by nieces, his nephew, and many dear friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Gene on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Edgemont Bible Church, 5100 N. Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208 from 10:30 to 11:30am. The celebration of life will follow at Edgemont Bible Church starting at 11:30am with Pastor Douglas White officiating the service. Gene will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barrack National Cemetery with full military honors immediately following.
