

Frank proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Navy. He was a Veteran of the Gulf War serving during that time on the USS Curts. After retirement, Frank was employed as an electrician by USEC Inc., at the American Centrifuge Plant, Piketon, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell G. Bynum; his grandparents, Frank & Mildred Pencak and Gaylon & Marguerite Bynum; an aunt Ora Dean Bynum and three uncles, Richard Pencak, David Pencak and Jerry Bynum.
Surviving are his wife, Jamie Bynum; his two loving children, Julia and Jake Bynum; his mother, Patricia nee Pencak, Dietrich; sister, Elizabeth (Arthur) Oppermann III; a nephew, Arthur A. (Ashley) Oppermann IV; a niece, Amanda Oppermann; an uncle, Robert (Maggie Wilson) Pencak; an aunt, Flora Jean Bynum; as well as numerous cousins. Also surviving are his dear friends, Jarrod and Dorothea Davis of Okawville, Ill., and their children, Kendra and Matthew.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. -3:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Lake View Funeral Home with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Upon Frank’s request, cremation was to be held. A life celebration will be held privately in New Hampshire with Frank’s wife and children at a later date.
