Gloria L. Mondy

Mrs. Mondy worked for Monsanto Company from 1952 to 1985. She then formed a partnership with her friend, Shirley Dingler and, as DI-Mon, carried on a benefit consulting business from 1986 to 1992.

She served as Treasurer for the Jonathan Landing Condo Association at the Lake of the Ozarks for 20 years.

She especially treasured her family and her many friends and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Mrs. Mondy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Mondy who passed in 2022; her parents, Ferdinand and Lucille Wachter (nee Stephens) her brother Ferdinand Wachter, sister, Mary Hill, brother-in-law Hirchel Hill and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Eleanora Mondy; and her nephew, Hirchel Hill Jr.

Surviving is her son, Terry L. (Susan) Mondy of St. Jacob, IL; grandchildren Katie L. Mondy Hughes (Steve) of Glen Carbon, IL, Kerrie A. (Jeff) Schaefer of St. Charles, MO and Christopher M. Mondy of St. Jacob, IL. Also surviving are nephew, Richard A. Hill of Centerton, AR; nieces, Renee (Brad) Stout of Webster Groves, MO, and Kathy Radich (Ned) of Austin, TX; and niece-in-law, Linda Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of donor's choice.

A visitation for Gloria will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. at Lake View Memorial Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation, at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Final Interment will be at the Lake View Memorial Mausoleum, Fairview Heights, IL.
