

Helen Frances Shaw-Winters, nee Kyle, 87 of Ste. Genevieve, MO, formerly of Highland IL, born Sunday, September 11, 1938, in Breese, IL, died on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at home with family by her side.
Helen is reunited in heaven with her husbands, Virgil and Leslie.
She was a very special, strong and determined woman that will be missed more than words could ever express. She lived life with purpose through her strong faith and relationship with Jesus, guiding her to care deeply for her family and for others. Helen was extremely generous with all that she had and ever ready to share The Gospel of Jesus with anyone. She spent her life as a caring and devoted homemaker, but most of all a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Helen is preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil E. Shaw and Leslie L. Winters; her parents, Dr. Raymond (Doc) A. and Helen E. Kyle, nee Klutho; sisters, Rita V. Page (Kyle), Ruth M. Kyle, Eva H. Kyle, and brother, Raymond (Doc) Kyle Jr.; grandchildren, Evelyn E. Pender, Katelyn M. Shaw, Dawn A. Winters, and great grandchild, Caden Addison.
Surviving are her 13 children, David (Dave) H. Shaw of Troy, IL, Teresa Penrod (Corley, Shaw) of Oklahoma City, OK, Scott K. (Cathy) Shaw of Highland, IL, Kyle J. (Yvonne) Shaw of Austin, TX, Sherri A. (Lane) Pender of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Helenrae Shaw of Highland, IL, Robert (Rob) (Nicole) Shaw of Highland, IL, Steven (Steve) A. (Chandra) Shaw of Greenville, IL, John R. (Cindy) Shaw of Pocahontas, IL, and William (Will) D. (Shelli) Shaw of Durango, CO, Dale L. (Kim) Winters of Collinsville, IL, Daniel (Dan) B. (Rhea) Winters of Maryville, IL, Phillip (Phil) L. (Cathy) Winters of Maryville, IL; sisters Mary E. Williams (Kyle) and Kathleen (Kathy) A. Hennessy (Weis, Kyle); 43 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with Pastor John Shaw officiating. Burial immediately following at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL. A live stream will be available on Facebook at 9:50 AM.
