James Bass

James loved spending time with his grandkids and his family was extremely important to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Addie B., nee Fortune, Robinson; a daughter, Carmella McIntyre; three brothers, Clarence Bass, John Lee Henderson, and Steve Britton; and a sister, Lucille Buchannon.

Mr. Bass is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, nee Dailey, Bass; a son, James (Lurenda) Dailey; three daughters, Connie Dailey, Christy Losaw, and Stephanie (Tristan) Mack; nine grandchildren, Donnell Stubbs, Valoria Harris, Oshjai Harris, Mack Harris, Jr., Tyshawn Randolf, Jaren Dailey, Jayden Dailey, Austin Dailey, and Rylee Armstrong; six great-grandchildren, Izeah Shaw, Drake Harris, Jamya Stubbs, Armonee Stubbs, Kane Stubbs, and Zori Stubbs; three sisters, Elmyra (Mark) Allen, Margaret (Russell) Sanders, and Debra Britton; a sister-in-law, Theresa (Murphy) Outlaw; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens.
