

Born on April 5, 1961, in Medina, New York, James was the beloved son of George and Teresa White, nee Stawicki. He spent his formative years in New York, graduated from Cherry Hill West High School in New Jersey and West Chester University in Pennsylvania. He proudly played high school and collegiate football. James continued his education in St. Louis, Missouri at Logan University – College of Chiropractic, Class of 1984.
On August 31, 1985, he married Dr. Kendra Kaesberg-White. Together, they owned and operated Kaesberg Chiropractic Clinic in Belleville, Illinois. His passion for health and helping others led him to open a second location in East St. Louis, Illinois. He enjoyed serving his patients for more than 35 years.
A dedicated professional, James was a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the American Institute of Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound. His expertise and passion for learning were evident in the many articles he published in professional journals.
James had a deep love for sports that brought him joy throughout his life. A lifelong football enthusiast, he rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles until relocating to the St. Louis area, where he proudly cheered for the St. Louis Rams and later achieved a lifelong dream of attending a Super Bowl. He was also an avid fan of the Cardinals and the Blues, keeping up to date on news through his favorite sports talk radio. In 2020, James became a St. Louis Battlehawks fan and celebrated their recent season opener win.
Above all, James was a dedicated doctor, husband, father, son, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Teresa White.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kendra, and their children: Captain Benjamin White, Michelle (Drew) Harvey, and Bruce White. He is also survived by his siblings: Pat Scarbinsky of Rochester, New York; George (Marleen) White of Middleport, New York; and Stewart (Laurie) White of Middleport, New York.
James will be remembered for his heart, his sharp wit, and his commitment to his family, patients, and community. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A memorial gathering of family and friends for James will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. The gathering will be followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Minister Rita Slider.
