Janet Lillian Krausz

Janet entered this life on August 6th, 1931, in Mascoutah, Illinois, to John and Viola Garner.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She shared and showed her love by giving gifts. She loved shopping and buying for others. She was a quiet, shy, loving woman!

After trusting Jesus Christ, God’s only Son as her Savior from sin, God led her to teach Sunday School, help others, and enjoy her family.

Janet was a member of Signal Hill Lutheran Church. She cherished and loved her Hope Church Family.

Loving family members include her loving husband of 72 years, Wilmer Henry Krausz. He loved, cared, and was devoted to taking care of his bride for five years of suffering from dementia; her children: Mike (Sally – deceased) Krausz and Lisa (Jim) Smallwood; grandchildren: Jimmy (Heather) Smallwood, Jamie (Brock) Green, Amanda Krausz (James Cahill), and Allison (Brett) Lindenmeyer; great-grandchildren: Caroline Smallwood, Aubrey Green, Nora Smallwood, Emmie Green, Gracelyn Lindenmeyer, and Conrad Lindenmeyer; her beloved grand-dogs: Sami, Max, Hank, and Milly.

We would like to thank Hospice of Southern Illinois, Ann Walker, and Tukesha Lang for the extraordinary care given in Mom’s final days.
