

Jared was raised in north Saint Louis County until he was nine years old. He attended Good Shepherd preschool and Countryside Montessori school. He attended the Clayton MO school district where he graduated from Meramec elementary, Wydown middle school and Clayton high school.
Jared was well known for his love of sports. During his years in Clayton high school, Jared played basketball on the varsity team as a freshman. He also played football at Clayton High and was on the state championship team in 2005. During his junior and senior years in high school, he was captain of the basketball and football teams. He graduated in the class of 2007. He later went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in science from Westminster college. There he played football and basketball. Jared then began his career in construction, working for Coors distribution in Denver CO. as a salesman.
Jared was a man who loved people. People loved him. He enjoyed laughter and a had a sense of brotherhood with all his friends. He was extremely generous and kindhearted. Jared loved being with his family, especially during the holidays. He loved to travel to Arizona in the summer and he loved playing in the swimming pool. He loved traveling to Atlanta GA and going on family outings. He loved all his family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He especially loved spending time with his mom and dad and his big brother, Ryan.
Jared became of member of Southern Mission Missionary Baptist Church at a young age.
Jared was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles, Myron Guiton, Glenor Guiton, Gerald Guiton, Eric Neely, Willie Neely, Edgar Richardson and Eugene Richardson; aunt, Gloria Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Connie and Alphono Neely; brother Ryan Neely; sister Tiphane McCullum; aunts and uncles, Gloria Hamilton, Patrice (Steven) Kinsey, Mary Jones, Yvonne (Ulice) Jordan, Antoinette Dawkins, Bernadine Mabra, Donald (Dorothy) Neely; Great aunt, Shirley Nelson; godfather, Jesse Miller; god sister, Amy Miller, a host of loving cousins and many friends.
A visitation for Jared will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Southern Mission Missionary Baptist Church, 2801 State St, East St. Louis, IL 62205. A funeral service will be held at the church, immediately following the visitation. A committal service will be take place following the funeral service at Lake Charles Cemetery, 7775 St Charles Rock Road, Breckenridge, MO 63114
