

Mr. Kinnikin was a United States Army veteran who served in World War II as a technical sergeant. After graduating from Washington University School of Law. He worked for the Traveler's Insurance Company, retiring in 1984 after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a manager of the Group Claims Division.
After retirement, he volunteered for the "contact" program in St. Louis, Mo., assisting the deaf in making telephone calls.
He enjoyed playing and watching sports of all kinds. He was especially fond of the West End Khoury League Teams and he coached all of the players on those teams.
Dad always had a strong emotional bond with his family and especially his nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Cleda, nee Chapman, Kinnikin; three brothers, Tommy, Grover and Gene; and one sister, Dorothy.
Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy A., nee Kreitner, Kinnikin; and a son, Jeff (Sue) Kinnikin; grandchildren, Kelli, Kacie and Tyler Kinnikin.
